About David Frobish MA, LPC, ACEP Provider

David has 20+ years post-masters experience providing individual, child, adolescent, adult and family counseling. He provides intensive home-based counseling for trauma, ADD, ADHD, stress management, sexual abuse, domestic violence, suicide, anger management, bi-polar, anti-social personality disorder, grief and loss, addictions, conflict resolution, and boundaries. He effectively teaches coping skills, parenting skills, family dynamics, improving communication skills, safety planning, play therapy, family therapy, relationship counseling, teaching, mentoring and training professionals. David also has 14 years providing case management to people with Intellectual and Developmental Disorders. In addition, he supervises LLPCs, provides consultation services, teaches, and has developed a self-care seminar and the 30 hour supervision workshop.

He has successfully completed several trainings over the years in all of the above areas. David has been fortunate to have been educated by DHHS, CASA, CMH, and Cross Country University; Georgia Department of Human Resources collaborating with Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities and disABILITY LINK; Institute for Brain Potential, Michigan State University Continuing Education, PESI, Social Security Agency, Treatment Foster Care Oregon Model (TFCO), and Advanced Counselor Training (ACT).

David is an Eagle Scout with four palms, author, and a retired CASA volunteer. He has served in several professional capacities, including supervisor, mentor, instructor, teacher, and trainer. Some of his most treasured experiences have come from helping others in the counseling, mentoring, teaching and supervising realms. He always tries to have a therapeutic approach, and to be as kind as possible.
